Be a Badass Giver of Love with Khristin Quigley

Updated: Jul 6, 2020

This convo is with jewelry creator and business owne

r Khristin Quigley. Join us as we chat about how her jewelry business started at her kitchen table with a stamping set that was gifted to her.

It wasn’t long before she was stamping with her own spin on things to create Unique Twist Jewelry. Her jewelry continues to fly off the shelves because her honest use of words helps women feel like a badass, less alone in their desire to be a badass and motivated to fully accept their own badassery. It's truly like wearing motivation dangling from your ears or around your neck.

Today she and I talk about how one brave conversation catapulted her jewelry from her kitchen table to being sold in over 1200 stores in 4 years! Even with this success she remains one of the most inclusive, empowering and generous women I know.

She has found amazing ways of gifting the world her love. A generous giver of love, encouragement, time and even money. She recently she started #alocalmovement called The Be a Good Human Project to help people in our community who had been greatly impacted by COVID-19. Rallying the community together to generate $34,000 in t-shirt/hat sales and generous community member donations. All in the name of giving love to those who needed it.

I first met Khristin at an event in town that I was apprehensive to attend, called Collaboration Over Competition. She and another fiercely empowering woman, Tiffany Bachman from @atthefarmhouse, brought the Boise born events to Twin Falls. The moment I walked in, not only did my concept of my own badassery start to shift but the connections I made with each event continued to grow. Connections that proliferated my sense of love for others and most importantly myself. In fact, most of the guests on this show I met at these very events. Through Khristin and Tiffany’s leadership, encouragement and a cultivated sense of collaboration instead of competition so many female business owners in this community held genuine conversations and began to support each other’s dreams.

In this episode I asked Khristin to give us pointers on where to find our own generosity. She gives us practical tips on ways to volunteer because giving our time can be just as, if not more, valuable than money!

About the Guest

Most days you will find her at Unique Twist Jewelry building and creating, drinking coffee, encouraging kindness and getting shit done!

Her passion is empowering women to be strong, confident and fully capable of handling all things like a badass. Each piece is hand-created with perfect imperfections and intentional break-the-mold phrases to remind you that you matter, kick ass and can do hard things. The world is better because you are a part of it.

When she's not busy crushin' it with my team, you can catch her soaking up Idaho in all its outdoor glory, with her favorite people by her side. Aside from her daily hustle, you should probably know that she'll own a weenie dog until her dying breath. If there’s a restaurant in town serving huckleberry anything, count her in. Most importantly, she's raising good humans and living a life better than she ever imagined.

Khristin believes that every great conversation requires an open heart and an open mind.

No matter what kind of conversation, openness is required to hear the other person.
