Convos in Marketing with Janeale Dean

Today I am chatting it up with Janeale Dean, the founder of Desert Creative Group and an accomplished marketer.

We are diving into how her full service marketing and creative company uses conversation to best support customers. Acting as a guiding light for growth, although sometimes challenging is Janeale’s main goal. Her company provides training, development and even helps with implementation because marketing means something different to everyone. It takes some serious conversational skills to be successful.

Although even the word “marketing” is overwhelm inducing for me personally and never did I ever think I would need to market anything. I absolutely loved this conversation. Janeale shines light on so many different things that really had my heart singing and my wheels turning. Content marketing vs conversational marketing. Personal brands vs spokesperson. She even gives us a free exercise to help us on our way!

We also discuss anger, unmet expectations, misunderstandings, embarrassment and the ebb and flow of happiness that conversation can create in all relationships, not just marketing. In fact, the whole episode you almost could switch the word “marketing” out for “relationships” and you would have an equally amazing episode.

We discuss the ever important skill of listening and and how to create engagement with simple phrases and clear communication. These skills appear in all parts of our world. I am so thankful for Janeale for giving us bite size chunks and communication to make any marketing venture (or relationship communication) more tangible, successful and enjoyable!
